Answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about getting CPR & First Aid certified.

What is the difference between an in-person course, a virtual course, and an online course?

An in-person is a traditional CPR course, which might be better for you if you have trouble focusing, don’t have reliable internet, are more of a hands-on learner, like immediate feedback, and like learning in a group. Check out our in-person class options here!

A virtual course is a good option if you want the skills and certification that CPR courses can give, but don’t have the means to get to a class or have obligations that would be more easily accommodated by a virtual class. A virtual class requires you to have a video connection, a microphone connection, and have active engagement from the student and instructor. If a virtual course suits your needs, check out our class options!

An online course occurs without an instructor present. You will need to find an in person facility to provide a skills check in order to complete the course. Online courses, due to the lack of an instructor at the time of learning are not always accepted certifications. Make sure to check with your employer before signing up for an online course. Resusci-Taters does not provide online courses.
